We’ll act as your representative, being the liaison between all the moving pieces of your project. We work directly with the sub-consultants to certify that materials, equipment and personnel are all working in the best interest of the developing project.
Our Construction Administration services typically include the following:
- Attend a Pre-Construction Conference
- Review shop drawings
- Provide necessary supplemental details and clarifications to the contractor;
- Attend all project meetings. BLW will prepare and distribute meeting minutes
for these meetings
- Review change orders and applications for payment
- Visit the site to observe the progress and quality of the work in conformance
with the contract documents. BLW will prepare and distribute field reports of
their findings
- Review closeout documentation (Record Drawings, Operations & Maintenance
Manuals, Balancing Reports) submitted by the Contractor
- Commissioning of Mechanical and Electrical Systems
- Perform a Punchlist inspection at the completion of the project
