Mechanical/Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Protection consulting engineering services for a new assisted living/independent building with 142 apartments, common spaces, offices and amenity spaces totaling approximately 161,000 square feet. This project is planned to be LEED Gold certifiable and is being designed with energy modeling and engineering calculations associated with LEED energy requirements as well as Stretch Code Compliance. The system was high efficiency air source variable refrigerant flow heating/cooling systems, heat recovery ventilation/exhaust systems, demand control ventilation controls, occupancy lighting/temperature setback controls, incorporation of solar PV power, heat pump domestic hot water systems and a direct digital building management system.
